The Widdowson Group UK Transport division offers national distribution from one pallet to a full load either on a dedicated, contractual, shared user or ad hoc basis. We carry a diverse range of products concentrating on the manufacturing, retail and industrial market sectors.
Our modern fleet, in excess of 150 of vehicles, extends from panic
vans to 44 tonne artics and includes over 200 trailers.
Control is a fundamental part of any efficient transport operation and at Widdowsons we continually invest in the latest computerised technology to plan and administrate our fleet.
Each vehicle is fitted with satellite tracking, enabling us to provide customers with real time information on the progress of their loads.
The groupage/part load section is serviced by our own fleet of distribution vehicles; your consignments are handled once through our 24 hour hub in Leicester. Here they are loaded direct to the vehicle making your delivery.
After the delivery has been made our customer services section administrates all the functions you require and expect from a professional logistics operator.
